Live Oak Pest Control, a family owned, complete pest control service company is proudly celebrating it’s 50th anniversary. Much has changed since 1972, however Live Oak Pest Control has remained in the forefront of pest control in North Central Florida.
In 1972, Bob McGranahan founded Live Oak Pest Control with his wife Frances by his side. He was their only service technician and salesman, and she was the company’s only secretary and bookkeeper. From this, his idea began: to bring the latest and greatest in pest control while knowing the customers by name not by account number. They focused on customer service, pest knowledge and training for every new technician as the company grew.
Now, with a fleet of over 30 service vehicles and over 40 employees, Live Oak Pest Control remains more committed than ever to serving customers and businesses in North Central Florida with the best in pest control and customer service.
Live Oak Pest Control has been named Lake City Reporter’s Best of the Best in Pest Control for the last three years in a row – 2021, 2020 and 2019. Bob McGranahan received the 1999 FCPA (Florida Pest Control Association) Pioneer Award, as of then he had dedicated over 40 years to the pest control industry. Live Oak Pest Control has received numerous awards over the years including Angie’s List Super Service Award in 2016 and Suwannee County Chamber of Commerce 2015 Small Business of the Year. Live Oak Pest Control is proud to give back to local organizations and schools within our communities and be a part of national associations that help expand their knowledge and services.
